    Enjoy a challenging, beautiful ride over 4 days. Starting on the shores of Lake Geneva, and following a purpose-built cycle path all the way into the low Alps. We can even arrange lunch at the UCI headquarters in Aigle on the way. Next, take on the Nufenenpass before an exhilarating descent all the way into Italy.  Cross the border and have lunch on the banks of Lake Maggiore, and if you dare – jump into the invigorating water!  Spend your penultimate night in Como and dine with lakeside views. Your last challenge is the famous Madonna del Ghisallo, featured many times in the Giro D’Italia, before rolling into Milan and celebrating outside the famous Duomo.

Tailor an A-B trip around the cols you want to tackle, there are options for starting in either Geneva or Milan and a finishing in Monaco, Nice, or Montpellier – where you could cycle up Mony Ventoux if the weather’s on your side. We’ll also give you the chance to sample the local cuisine and cycle on quieter roads and through traditional villages on your way between the mountains.

    Explore the Bay of Biscay. Starting in Bordeaux, spend two days following the world-famous Velodyssey cycle route through sand dunes and coastal paths with overnight stops in the beautiful towns of Biarritz and Biscarrosse. Take on the gentler slopes of the Pyrenees and the Col of Jaizkabel before rejoining the Basque coastline and stopping for lunch in San Sebastian. Leaving the Basque country behind, your journey will finish in the cosmopolitan town of Bilbao in the Bay of Biscay.

You also have the opportunity to tackle the famous Madonna del Ghisallo – a climb often featured in the Giro D’Italia and home to two amazing cycling museums.

    Start in the sunny city of Rimini on the Adriatic coast, known for its sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Soon you’ll be in the flat(ish) region of Emilia-Romagna – most famous for the classic dish spaghetti bolognese. Cycle through national parks and stunning landscapes until you reach the lush wine regions of Tuscany. Stay overnight in Florence and soak up the Renaissance architecture and sample the best gelato in Italy before finishing your journey to the Mediterranean Sea in the city of Pisa, famous for its leaning tower.

    With many ferry crossing options or starting points in France, you decide where you want to start from, to get to one of France’s most remarkable sights, the abbey of Saint Michel. It actually sits in the sea and can be reached by cycling along a boardwalk accessible at low tide. Enjoy the interesting landscapes of Brittany, famous for its crepes and Breton cider. Stay in the vibrant city of Rennes before a short final ride to the island and an evening of celebration in the town of Saint-Michel Beauvoir.

    Start underneath the Eiffel Tower and continue through rural France with its beautiful vineyards, medieval villages and cobbled streets. From well-known wine regions, through to Dijon and the famous spa town of Lons le Saunier. The ride culminates in an epic crossing of the Jura Mountains, where we will take on the Col de la Faucille (1323m); followed by a thrilling downhill approach to Geneva and our final celebration on the shores of Lake Geneva.

    Start underneath the Eiffel Tower and continue past many famous monuments until you make your way into the quiet and peaceful countryside of Northern France. Spend the next couple of days cycling towards the coast and the white cliffs of Kent or Sussex. There are several ways to get home and we can advise the best route based on your needs and abilities. Finish by cycling down the Mall and celebrating underneath Big Ben on the banks of the Thames.

  10. London to Amsterdam

    Start with Kent’s rolling countryside to catch the ferry from Dover to Calais. Travel east through the quiet French villages and barely notice crossing the border into Belgium. Have lunch on the beach before stopping the night in the historic town of Bruges. Only 10 miles out of Bruges you’ll find yourself in Holland with your first (of many) sighting of a Dutch windmill. With the best cycling network in the world, making your way to Amsterdam will be a dream, and you can celebrate your success in one of the most fun and vibrant cities in Europe.
